“Free the Galgo” charity print

This piece of work was inspired by International “ free the Galgo” day which is on February the 1st to raise awareness that this date also marks the end of the Spanish hunting season, when Galgos (Spanish greyhounds) used as a tool by the hunters are cruelly discarded like rubbish and left to fend for themselves. Many dogs end up living on the streets, starving to death or getting killed by being run over, lucky ones get into shelters like Galgos del sol where they are looked after, rehabilitated and eventually find new forever homes.

This drawing inspired by that day is to help raise awareness of their plight .
20% of each print sale will go to GDS (Galgos del sol) a Galgos rescue shelter in Spain to help them to continue the great work they do for these beautiful hounds.

This is an A5 Giclee print measuring 21cm x 14.8 cm

Printed on lovely thick 320gsm fine art ,acid free and cotton fibre paper.

Limited to a small edition of 20 prints, each is hand signed and numbered by the artist.

Your print will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper then packed flat between thick card and placed in a card backed envelope to ensure safe transit.
